Motivational Music Playlist

Hello gals & guys! I thought it was about time to share another of my many music playlists. This year I’m planning on getting as much work done as possible; blog-wise and in my personal life too. Which means some days I definitely am needing that extra motivation when it comes to the work I have planned for the day. I’m not sure what it is about some music but I find it definitely helps me focus and concentrate to make sure I get everything done in the day. I’ve also adapted a new exercise plan every week and I need the music if I’m going to get through a run alive haha. There is a mix of new to old songs. Listening to all of the lyrics to all of the songs they all have a varying message of motivation.

Here are all the songs that have been keeping me feeling upbeat and motivated so far this year:

– Never Give Up by Sia

– Masterpiece by Jessie J

– War Rages On by Alex Clare

– Cannonball by Little Mix

– Fight Song by Rachel Platten

– HEAVEN by Troye Sivan

– Rockabye (Jack Wins Remix) by Clean Bandit ft. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie

– Breathing Underwater by Emeli Sandé

– Rooting For You by London Grammar

– Brave, Honest, Beautiful by Fifth Harmony

– The Greatest by Sia

– That’s My Girl by Fifth Harmony

– Strong by London Grammar

– Weightless by Layla

– Alive by Sia

I really hope you get the same motivation out of this playlist as I do. Make sure you go and check these songs out! I do think motivation comes natural when it comes the the activities and the things we love… However we all have bad days when all we want to do is binge watch TV series. We shouldn’t feel guilty about needing something to help motivate us.

My favourite motivational quote is:
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” – Nelson Mandela

I really hope you enjoyed this post!
Let me know in the comments how you keep motivated I’d love to know!

Current Music Favourites

So it’s that time again for some more of my current music favourites. As we’re now at the end of November and nearly into the start of December it’s only right I do this now. I guarantee the next time I do my music favourites it will be all Christmas music haha. Once the 1st December is here I pretty much have my Christmas playlist on repeat. Anyway I’ll stop rambling and get onto the music I’m loving at the moment.

Mercy by Shawn Mendes, I just feel every bloody lyric from this song. I can’t even explain how I feel when I listen to this song. If you’ve watched Shawn sing this live you can just hear every raw emotion he’s feeling through his voice and it honestly mesmerises me.

Starving by Hailee Steinfeld, I love sassily strut around to this song… You think I’m joking but I can assure you I’m not haha. If I’m going out this is my go-to get ready song because by the time it’s finished I feel great! I’m so glad I discovered Hailee’s music because she honestly is amazing!

– Shout Out To My Ex by Little Mix, YES THIS SONG! The sassiest song of the year by far. I was hooked and had this on repeat as soon as Little Mix performed it for the first time on X Factor. It also really made me want to be in a girl band like seriously I want it to happen haha. Make sure to check out the whole of the ‘Glory Days’ album why your at it because these girls are slaying.

This Town by Niall Horan, This song is as cute as Niall Horan is… way too cute that is. It’s just such a beautiful song. I was listening to it the other day sat by my window watching the sunset and honestly you know when you have that perfect moment of your day. That was definitely mine! Of course as well I’ll always support all of the boys from One Direction.

Patience by Shawn Mendes, This is such a catchy song though. If you listen to it once you’ll be singing the chorus over and over again once you’ve got the lyrics down!

Let’s Hurt Tonight by One Republic, I unintentionally stumbled across this song somehow. It’s from One Republic’s new album ‘Oh My My’. This song has such beautiful lyrics my specific favourite is “If love this pain then darling let’s hurt tonight”. There’s just something about it that I love.

Brave Honest Beautiful by Fifth Harmony, I mentioned this back song back when I saw Fifth Harmony. I’m still absolutely loving! Perfect to song to dance to in your pyjamas and sing into your hairbrush with your fellow girlies haha.

Stone Cold by Demi Lovato, This song breaks my heart every time I listen to it… But sort of in a good way. I always say that a song is truly good when I get really emotional and the first time I heard ‘Stone Cold’ I my eyes out. I’m so glad I discovered this song… So thanks James Corden for having Demi on Carpool Karaoke haha.

Rock Bottom by Hailee Steinfeld, Another song by Hailee but I promise you this one’s amazing too. Totally had this on repeat for two solid days and that’s not a lie.

HandClap by Fitz and The Tantrums, I can’t listen to this songs and not dance! I’d never heard of the band before this song and I absolutely love it. So if you’re looking for a song to get everyone up and dancing give this one a go.

Human by Rag’n’Bone, I only discovered this song a couple of days and I’ve played it way too many times than I’d like to admit. They have such raw talent. What I’d recommend doing is reading the lyrics first; I feel like you can appreciate the song more after.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post! Definitely go and check these songs out if you haven’t I promise you won’t regret it! Please leave me some song, artist or album recommendations in the comments because I love discovering new music.

Thank you,

Fifth Harmony 7/27 Tour Review

I was lucky enough to be able to get tickets to see Fifth Harmony in Birmingham at the Barclaycard Arena. I was super excited we has amazing seats right in front of the stage! If you’re considering going to watch Fifth Harmony then go. They were absolutely amazing! Talented, beautiful and empowering girls is all I can say.

I love both their albums 7/27 and Reflection and couldn’t wait to hear the songs live. When I listen to the albums I always feel empowered as a woman and sassy as hell haha. I quite often find myself strutting around to the songs on the album.

I had so much fun at the concert singing and dancing my little heart out. It’s the most fun I’ve had in such a long time. My favourite songs they performed were ‘That’s My Girl’, ‘Brave Honest Beautiful’, ‘Sledgehammer’ and ‘Dope’. Definitely go and check out both albums I promise as soon as you listen you’ll have them straight on repeat.

Totally rate the experience 10/10. Hand up to Fifth Harmony because they seriously are crazy talented. They looked absolutely stunning and I honestly wish I could pull of their outfits. I have to give them credit for connecting to the audience so much. It’s so nice for them to really connect and smile and wave. It just made me so super happy! They have my 100% support I love them so much. I got home dancing and singing round my house wishing I was in a girl band haha.

I hope you enjoyed this post!
Let me know if you want me to do more concert reviews or if you know any artists you recommend seeing live.

Top 6 Songs I’m Loving

So I listen to music 24/7! I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or not but I can’t get through a day without listening to it. It doesn’t matter what music I listen to from One Direction to The Beatles to listening to West End musical soundtracks… I love it all! So I thought I’d share with you the songs I have on repeat at the moment.

1. Eyes Shut by Years & Years, I think maybe I’m a little late to this song? I feel like everyone was already listening to it months ago! I personally wasn’t a huge fan of Years & Years when they first came onto the music scene but honestly after seeing them sing live they’ve really grown on me. The more I found out about them the more I loved them. Eyes Shut is definitely my favourite song off of the album Communion. This is basically my chill out song at the moment. It goes on as soon as I’m feeling the tiniest bit stressed which has felt like a lot recently!

2. Weightless by Layla, I first heard this song on an advert for the new TV series of ‘Our Girl’ (A show that you should definitely go watch if you haven’t yet!). I instantly fell in love with this song and searched lyrics online to find out what it was. I’d never heard of the artist before but have since listened to some of her songs and I’m so glad I found her. I literally have had this song on repeat for days!

3. Wild Horses by Birdy, Birdy is so unbelievably talented so much that it literally blows me away. I’d absolutely love to see her sing live one day! This is also the current song I love to sing at the moment. If you didn’t know I absolutely love singing I’ve grown up singing/acting/dancing. So there’s one thing you didn’t know about me until now haha.

4. That’s My Girl by Fifth Harmony, YES this song is the key to girl power! Every time I listen to this song I feel like the sassiest girl around. It’s my motivational song at the moment. Whether I’m trying to get work done or out for run this is the song I’m playing. I do warn you though this song is so catchy once you’ve learnt the lyrics it’ll be in your head for days haha.

5. The Greatest by Sia, I’m slightly biased when it comes to Sia because I absolutely love her! I love everything she has ever done. She really fascinates me without that sounding odd! I was so excited to see Sia had released a new song I immediately had to listen to it. Originally not going to lie I wasn’t actually too fussed. Then I watched the music video and my opinion completely changed on this song. If you’ve never heard this song go and watch the music video. It gives me conflicting emotions and I’m not really sure what I make of it but that’s kind of what I like. It’s haunting, beautiful and intriguing all at the same time.

6. Strong by London Grammar, This isn’t really a new song to me I first listened to it back when it came out in 2103. Ever since then it always seems to find it’s way back into my favourites/currents playlist. This song just really is beautiful… everything about it! This is the song I listen to if I’m feeling panicked and need to calm down. Unfortunately the panicking happens more than I’d like to admit but this song has been a really big help to me. Also this song tends to make an appearance when I’ve got some thinking to do; it’s a really good song for that!

I hope you enjoyed this random ramble of a post! I just really wanted to share these amazing songs with you all. Let me know in the comments what songs you’re loving at the moment. I love to be introduced to new artists/songs etc.
